Henderson Horrocks Risk Services Pty Ltd, a proud South Australian private investigation firm, has been owned and operated by Vincent Henderson and Sam Horrocks since 2017.

Over the years Sam and Vin have gathered a team of highly trained and proficient investigators with varied work backgrounds that grant them unique and specialised perspectives on a range of different cases.

Vin Henderson
Director & Principal Investigator
Vin specialises in injury management claims for psychological and physical injuries, GI, CTP, and workplace misconduct. He is also experienced in negligence and recovery actions.
Director and Principal Investigator of Henderson Horrocks Risk Services, Vin works in both Factual Investigation and Surveillance Case Management.​​​​

Vin worked for 11 years as a subcontracted private investigator for a range of Investigation Firms, both local and interstate working in the fields of Worker's Compensation (Return to Work), General Insurance, Liability Insurance, Income Protection, and Motor Vehicle and Compulsory Third Party Insurance. Specialising in injury management claims for psychological and physical injuries and experience in recovery actions. Vin is skilled in conducting surveillance.

He spent 15 years in the SA Police, including General Patrols, Country Policing (Port Augusta, Burra, Strathalbyn) Officer in Charge (Mount Pleasant Police Station), General Duties, Supervisor and Acting Patrol Sergeant (Hindley Street Police Station). This gave Vin a good understanding of the investigative process.

Running a small business gave Vin wide experience in managing a business, stock control, staffing and HR. This allows him to offer clients advice in these matters and a deeper understanding of where business owners and employees are coming from.
Sam Horrocks
Director & Principal Investigator
Sam specialises in workplace misconduct, maladministration, and psychological injury.
She has an extensive history as a consultant in organisational remedial action.
Sam worked as a subcontracted private investigator for a range of firms for 7 years before becoming a Director and Principal Investigator at Henderson Horrocks Risk Services. She has extensive experience in misconduct investigations, and workers compensation investigations into Recovery (Negligence) and Physical and Psychological injury claims. Plus general insurance claims including car theft, house fires, burglary and travel insurance.
​​​​​​Prior to this, Sam was the owner and principal consultant of Sam Horrocks Consulting where she conducted workplace investigations for private clients including Misconduct including Bullying and Harassment, Governance and/or Fraud and Workplace Assault.

Her work as a business consultant for the development of WHS, Performance Appraisal and Management and HR Policy and Procedure to small-medium businesses gives her further insight to these investigative matters.
She conducted and reported on investigations into, and provided process analysis of, the internal administrative processes of government and commercial entities. She is highly proficient in writing reports, executive briefings, policy documents, and procurement business cases for government agencies and commercial entities.
